nutrigenomics: podcast interview

I loved this conversation with Emma Beswick from LifeCode Gx.

We all know that our genes are set for life, and can create predispositions towards certain health issues. But the good news is, that we may harness nutrition and lifestyle medicine to support the unique genes we have, for better mental and physical health.

Emma Beswick’s nutrigenomics testing company has hugely advanced our ability to do this, facilitating real breakthroughs for so many. And she is also one of the kindest people you’ll ever meet.

So Emma was the most ideal person I could ask to come on the show, and I was thrilled that she was able to join us for my very first interview on Nutrition With Love.

You can find this wonderful chat on Spotify or Apple podcasts.

In the episode:

  • What is nutrigenomics

  • How understanding our genes may encourage more compassion for ourselves

  • Why not all nutrient needs are the same for everyone

  • How nutrigenomics can help address even long-standing issues like anxiety

  • How thyroid health may be supported more effectively, using information from nutrigenomic testing

  • What is methylation and how can knowing about it help us?

If you’d like a bit more information on the basics of thyroid health, do have a look at some of my previous blog posts:

Or, probably better, have a listen here:
